The internet is full of terrible things - I mean specifically about the environment, plastics, and climate change. It's overwhelming.
This is my blog about trying (failing, then trying again) to go zero(ish) waste by making small changes. Don't be overwhelmed - small changes do add up! In the spirit of organisation I've moved all my posts to this site - Just in case you wanted to read more about the journey we've taken to get where we are today.
Mid-2017 I saw a picture of a dolphin tangled up in a plastic bag and I decided that reckless endangerment of sea mammals was no longer for me. So, I bought a packet of re-usable metal drinking straws and embarked on a journey to go non-consumer, reduced plastic, zero(ish) waste. I've been trying out the things I find on lifestyle blogs, on zero waste groups and in Guardian articles - with varying degrees of success.
